Disabling Conditions

These are just some of the many conditions that are potentially disabling - there are too many for a comprehensive list. These are a few of the major categories, summarized for you. If you would like to have a free in-office or telephone consultation, please call or email.

Neurological Issues

The list of neurological disorders is long. Symptoms are incredibly varied among these diseases, and can result in a great variety of disabling limitations.

Epilepsies of various types, central nervous system diseases and impairments, brain tumors, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, nerve root lesions, nerve impingements, multiple sclerosis, AML, muscular dystrophy, polymyelitis, nerve damage of all types, and other neurological disorders can all qualify one for disability benefits. As with all disability claims, medical proof of the extent of the impairment, and how it limits your functioning, is a key element.

The key is showing that the symptoms are so severe they keep you out of work. We will develop evidence and/or documentation to prove that the neurological condition is, in fact, disabling. For instance, for a person with epilepsy we will seek medical documentation of the seizure type, and medical evidence regarding the frequency of the seizures. Other conditions will require similar proof to help win the case.
